MAIS, the M. A. Ideal School, is dedicated to providing underprivileged students from low-income families with quality education. Our mission is to equip these students with the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character qualities necessary to succeed from Nursery through 10th Class, and beyond in college and the competitive world.

Celebrating its 37th year, MAIS has grown into a chain of schools committed to providing all children with access to excellent education. Founded by Dr. Mohammed Anwar in Kishan Bagh, Hyderabad, in 1987, MAIS has expanded to eight schools across two districts: Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy.

MAIS serves thousands of children and supports over 4,000 alumni who are thriving in college and beyond. Our educational philosophy emphasizes that there are no shortcuts on the path to college graduation. Students achieve their dreams by adhering to two important principles: Work hard and be nice.

MAIS students demonstrate their commitment by spending more time on their studies than many of their peers. Classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with shortened hours on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additionally, students have access to extra learning opportunities after school hours.

At MAIS, we believe that being nice is as important as working hard. Our schools focus on developing character traits that empower students to become ethical leaders, productive citizens, and loyal friends.
